i remember a tuesday exactly nine years ago. i was in 0th class, my first year in primary school.
we were sitting on the floor, as we did every day, like a session where we would sing songs and talk about stuff like what we did yesterday and what we had for breakfast that morning. i was about six years old so it's not that clear to me anymore, but i still remember when we was told that something completely horrible had happened at the other side of the world. i remember that we had a two minutes of silence, and even though we were always pretty loud during classes, no one said a word. i probably didn't understood what had happened all that well, but i can still see the faces of my teachers and i knew something was off. i guess we just played around for the rest of the day like nothing had happened and forgot about it an hour later, cause we were just kids and couldn't understand it anyway. and i don't even think they told us what happened, but i'll never forget this day. because no matter where you are and how old you are, you know something is not right when you're told something like this.
- my thoughts go out to everyone who've lost someone during 9.11.2001 - it's truly a day of sorrow and pain.
may all the victims rest in peace.
